Change your browser's default homepage

Firefox

Verified for version 36

  1. Click the Tools icon Image of the Google Chrome settings icon. | select Options.
    -The "Options" window appears.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. Under "Startup," enter the URL of your choice in the Home page field.
  4. Click OK.

Chrome

Verified for version 40

  1. Click the Settings icon Image of the Google Chrome settings icon. | select Settings.
    The "Settings" tab appears.
  2. Under "On startup," select Open a specific page or set of pages.
  3. Click Set pages.
    - The "Startup pages" window appears.
  4. Enter the URL of your choice in the Add a new page field.
  5. Click OK.
    -The "Startup pages" window closes.
  6. Close the "Settings" tab.

Safari

  1. Click Safari | select Preferences.
    - The "Preferences" window appears.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. Select Homepage from the New windows open with field.
  4. Select Homepage from the New tabs open with field.
  5. Enter the URL of your choice in the Home page field.
  6. Close the "Preferences" window.
